Everything a Cloud 9 manager needs in one place: how we hire, how we run a location, the systems we use, and how a manager grows into the job.
This site is for managers only. The material staff read is on the other three sites, linked at the bottom.
Departments
- HR — hiring, onboarding, performance, conduct, and the letter templates
- Marketing — email, blog, newsletter, and the customer review work
- Operations — purchasing and the day-to-day running of a location
- Technology — Obsidian, Todoist, the phone system, and the AI policy
For managers
- Manager Development — the management framework, how we categorise work, and the reading behind both
- Obsidian Setup for Managers — start here if you are new; it gets you access to the folders shared with you
New manager, first week
- Set up Obsidian and confirm you can see the folders shared with you.
- Read the Spa Management Framework — this is how we expect a location to be run.
- Read Task Categorization so your weekly objectives match everyone else’s.
- Skim your department’s folder above, and the staff site your team uses.
The staff sites
Managers are expected to know what their teams have been told. Same passcode as this site.
- Front desk — sopfd.cloud9.spa
- Therapists (bilingual) — sopmt.cloud9.spa
- Everyone — weekly communication, company news, careers — team.cloud9.spa
How to use this site
Read-only. The source of truth is the Cloud 9 vault, and these pages are rebuilt from it whenever something changes. If something here is wrong or out of date, tell Sean or Angela rather than working around it — a fix here fixes it for every manager at once.
