Tryout Structure
- 30 Minutes: 10 minutes Foot, 20 minutes Body
What to Evaluate
1. Technique & Quality
- Overall feel: pressure, technique, and ability to target key areas
- Variety of techniques vs repetitive pressing
- Proper use of hands, thumbs, forearms (avoid over-reliance on elbows)
- Control and consistency of pressure
- Foot Massage: Uses pressure points and technique (not just general rubbing)
2. Flow & Pace
- Smooth, continuous flow vs choppy transitions
- Pace: controlled and intentional (not rushed or rough)
- Ability to transition between areas naturally
3. Body Mechanics & Control
- Moves the client’s body with control and care (not rough or abrupt)
- Maintains proper stance and posture
- Protects their own body (no strain or unsafe positioning)
4. Draping & Professional Technique
- Proper, secure draping at all times
- Clean, confident handling of sheets/towels
Attitude & Communication
- Positive energy and confident body language
- Checks in appropriately on pressure/comfort
- Makes an effort to communicate clearly (If manager does not speak Chinese)
Professionalism
- Does not climb on the bed
- Maintains appropriate physical boundaries (no unnecessary body contact)
- Presents themselves professionally throughout (uniform, general appearance)

- Would you personally rebook with this therapist if you were a client?
